Transparent project management

Mould Closing Device SITEMA-PowerStroke

Purpose

The SITEMA-Mould Closing Device FSK has been designed for holding as well as strongly pushing a clamping rod in one direction (closing direction). So the SITEMA Mould Closing Device is a clamping unit with an integrated short stroke cylinder. The closing force is variable and proportional to the working pressure.

SITEMA-PowerStroke FSKP (pneumatic)

The pneumatic SITEMA-PowerStroke shows its strength, if short strokes with high force (PowerStroke) and long strokes with small forces (working stroke) are required in the same application and no hydraulic pressure is available or desired.

The SITEMA-PowerStroke is further not limited to the end position of the drive only, but can be used within the full stroke of the drive.

The unit can be mounted on a standard cylinder or on a separate rod. So the unit can be used in many applications like: mould closing, die cutting, stamping, riveting, bending, metal forming, compression moulding, crushing, jointing, fixation.

Safety Catcher mechanical actuation (without hydraulic or pneumatic)

Purpose

The Safety Catcher KRM is strictly mechanically operated. This leads to the big advantage that a hydraulic or pneumatic power supply is not necessary.

The Safety Catcher KRM is kept mechanically released by the lifting force itshelf. It engages immediately in case of total breakdown of the lifting gear (chain, belt, rope). Afterwards the energy of the falling masses is used to create the clamping force.

Safety Catcher KRM are used where protection of personnel and accident prevention must be achieved. Safety Catcher KRM catch falling masses at any position of the stroke, in a mechanically secure and absolutely reliable manner. The design principle of the self-intensifying clamping ensures an extremely high safety level.

Application example

Packing Machine - The frame of a packing machine is lifted by chains. If these chains would fail, the frame will be secured by a Safety Catcher at a separate holding rod.

Auto-Bleeder

Air in hydraulic systems can cause various problems. Especially the dieseling-effect (compression-ignition of air-oil mixture) can cause damages to seals and sealing surfaces. Clamping devices are exceptionally in danger to this effect, due to their small hydraulic volume. Especially if the Clamping Device is situated on the very top of the hydraulic system a single manual bleeding is not always sufficient. At least in these cases an Auto-Bleeder is strongly recommended.
